Dana Tai Quickly Burgess is aware of his manner round a museum. The Smithsonian’s first choreographer-in-residence had an extended partnership with the Nationwide Portrait Gallery, the place his eponymous troupe has typically carried out.

Pianist Haskell Small will play the accompanying music, by Federico Mompou — who, like Miró, was born in Barcelona.
