Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle expressed disappointment after observing Pakistan’s bowling efficiency within the opening Check in opposition to Australia in Perth on Thursday.

Bhogle took to social media platform X, noting that Pakistan’s bowling lacked real tempo, a uncommon sight in Check cricket.

“Very long time since I noticed Pakistan play Check cricket with out real tempo,” Bhogle wrote on X.

After lunch on the primary day, Australia had reached 128-1, with David Warner and Usman Khawaja offering a strong begin.

Warner, notably aggressive, remained unbeaten on 76 off 86 balls, together with 11 fours and a six.

Khawaja was dismissed at 47 by Shaheen Shah Afridi. Nonetheless Aamir Jamal missed an opportunity to assert his first Check wicket when Abdullah Shafique dropped Khawaja at 21.

Australia, after profitable the toss, opted to bat. Pakistan’s debutants, Aamir Jamal and Khurram Shahzad, featured as pacers. Australia made just one change from their earlier Ashes finale lineup, with Nathan Lyon changing Todd Murphy.
